EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATION
HR departments of the candidate’s previous employers will be
contacted to confirm factual information relating to the
candidate’s employment including dates of employment, title,
reason for leaving, eligibility for rehire, verification of last
drawn salary and any bonuses provided if that information can be
shared by the previous employer.
EDUCATION VERIFICATION
The validity and authenticity of
education qualifications claimed by the candidate is checked.
Depending on institutional guidelines, these checks may include
dates of attendance, qualification, subject matter and
marks/grade obtained. We will also check the name of the
institution against our database to confirm that the degree has
been awarded by a genuine educational establishment.
REFERENCE CHECK
The candidate’s previous
supervisors will be interviewed to ascertain the candidate’s
work performance, skill set, integrity, strengths and
weaknesses, professional ability, reason for leaving and
confirmation as to whether the company would rehire the
candidate.
ADDRESS VERIFICATION
Permanent address is the legally
the address where an applicant is a registered resident with
his/ her name and address appearing in government documents like
Voter list, ration card, etc…
Temporary Address is an address where an applicant is residing
currently.
The most uncertain type of address is the temporary address. An
applicant’s temporary address is by its own definition a
temporary correspondence location and is not considered to be a
reliable piece of information as far as security is concerned.
Address Verification of the candidate in India is conducted
through a physical visit by trained personnel. Temporary
addresses are handled more carefully by our trained personnel so
as to determine its degree of authenticity by determining
factors like duration of stay, relation of the owner of the said
address with the applicant, etc…
Address Checks are also additionally cross confirmed from online
directories and databases, where applicable.
CRIMINAL CHECK
A criminal check is conducted to
identify if the candidate has a criminal record and is based on
recognized city-specific procedures. When we are unable to
conduct a recognized police record or court data check due to
either legal restrictions or simply the lack of such a database,
we are able to offer a “next best alternative”. These searches
review proprietary databases and criminal watch lists issued by
various governments to identify known individuals. We combine
this check with an extensive media search which provides a high
degree of confidence that the individual has not been involved
in high-profile criminal activity.
